Overall Experience = 2.8/5 -- Centrally located in Kandy. -- Significant issues with seepage and bugs in the room. -- The property is situated a bit off the road and uphill, which could be challenging when transporting luggage.
Location & Accessibility = 3 Sobaya Kandy is centrally located in the heart of Kandy, offering convenience to explore the city. However, it's important to note that the property is situated a bit off the road and uphill, which could be challenging when transporting luggage. To ensure a hassle-free arrival, arranging for a tuk-tuk or taxi is highly recommended.
Room Quality & Cleanliness = 0 I found the room quality at Sobaya Kandy to be below par. Unfortunately, there were issues with bugs and seepage in the room, and the odor from the seepage made the stay less comfortable.
Service Quality & Amenities = 4 While the room quality at Sobaya Kandy was below expectations, I must commend the service quality. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist, which added a positive note to the stay.
Food = 2 Sobaya Kandy provided a basic breakfast that included fruits, eggs, toast, and tea/coffee. However, it's worth noting that for other meals, I was informed that the kitchen was not functional, and as a result, I relied on food delivery apps for my meals.
Safety, Security & Guest Privacy = 5 I'd like to reaffirm that safety, security, and guest privacy were consistently maintained without any compromise.
