Location & Accessibility = 4
The location couldn't be more ideal, situated at the heart of the village and adjoining the forest that graces the hill immediately behind it. Away from the noise pollution of the main road, the only noises one hears is of cows, sheeps, birds and dogs. It's worth noting that accessibility might pose challenges for individuals with disabilities. The village is situated approximately 300 meters from the main road, and the path to the homestay involves an uphill walk. Additionally, the cottage is located on the first floor, which could present difficulties for those with mobility issues.
Room Quality & Cleanliness = 4
The first-floor wooden cottage boasts a delightful balcony complete with a table and chairs, offering an ideal spot to savor the surrounding beauty. The bathroom features a continuous supply of hot water, and the room itself is generously sized, featuring a flat-screen TV. The only potential area for enhancement could be the mattress quality. The room and the entire surrounding area were impeccably clean and well-maintained.
Service Quality & Amenities = 5
The owner resides on the ground floor and is always available, promptly responding to calls and messages via WhatsApp. Drinking water, sourced from a government-supplied spring, was readily accessible on the ground floor throughout the day and night. As it's a homestay, the amenities are basic and minimal.
Food = 5
The stay included all meals, with choices available for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. One of the standout highlights of the stay was undoubtedly the food, which was prepared with exceptional care. The owner, who has undergone specialized culinary training, personally cooked each meal. The result was consistently outstanding, with every dish leaving a memorable impression. The variety on offer also allowed me to savor delicious local cuisine, adding to the overall culinary experience.
Safety, Security & Guest Privacy = 5
Throughout my extended stay, I felt completely safe and secure. The property was equipped with double-locked doors, and an additional iron main gate further ensured security. At no point did I experience any sense of insecurity or discomfort during my stay. Guest privacy was absolutely respected, with a 100% assurance of solitude whenever desired. However, should you wish for some friendly company, the welcoming villagers were readily available for engaging conversations during your leisurely strolls through the village.
