“साधु ऐसा चाहिए, जैसा सूप सुभाय।
सार-सार को गहि रहै, थोथा देई उड़ाय॥”

Translation

“ऐसा साधु (ज्ञानी व्यक्ति) होना चाहिए, जो सूप (अन्न साफ करने वाला उपकरण) की तरह हो।
जो सार्थक और उपयोगी को बचा ले और जो व्यर्थ (बेकार) हो, उसे उड़ा दे।”
